Leather is a natural article and therefore will show normal characteristics such as ( but not limited to) wrinkles and veining.
Alternatively, some leather chairs/sofas will have deeper “bucket” style seating with softer seat styles. When the pieces are shaped this way, some stretching and pooling of leather on the seat is common and completely normal.
Wood is an organic product of nature and because of this, no two pieces are exactly alike. You will find variations in grain, texture and colour and that is precisely what makes it uniquely beautiful!
First things first, pilling is not a fabric defect. Pilling happens when fibres in the material become loose and the friction caused by movement on the fibres, cause them to ball up. (No different from your favourite sweatshirt!)
Because pilling is normal, there are a lot of tools on the market to help remove the pills such as razors or defuzzers!
